Team Building Initiatives

Day #1

Colorado welcomed OWLers to St. Mary's Academy with bright blue skies and summer temperatures! Our afternoon session focused on building community, creating empathy, and putting ourselves in our students' shoes. Annie and Ricardo led break-out groups in team building initiatives like the Hula Hoop Pass, Kings Card, and Maze that helped us remember these core values. Many of the activities and debriefing strategies can be modified for use in our own classrooms!
